Nico Jaeschke has been a consultant at Hamburg Institut since 2023, supporting municipalities and companies in developing sustainable heating strategies. His work focuses on municipal heating planning, analysing potential and the economic evaluation of energy systems.
With a master’s degree in renewable energies and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Nico Jaeschke brings in-depth technical expertise to the analysis and optimisation of heating supply systems. He works on projects in the areas of district heating, climate-neutral communities and the heating transition. In addition to municipal heating plans, the focus is particularly on feasibility studies, transformation plans for heating networks and climate strategies. He got to know Hamburg Institut as a student trainee and has since been applying his expertise to strategic consulting. His goal: to develop sustainable and economically viable solutions for the heating transition

Professional experience & qualification
During his master’s degree in ‘Regenerative Energies’, Nico Jaeschke was already working as a student trainee at Hamburg Institut. Prior to that, he completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
