As a consultant, Maja Overberg works at Hamburg Institut particularly in the area of climate-neutral communities and the heating transition.
Professional experience & qualification
Before starting her permanent position in 2024, Maja Overberg worked as a student trainee at Hamburg Institut while completing her master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management. Prior to that, she gained practical experience as a working student in the field of technical operations management for wind farms at BayWa r.e. and completed an internship at the German Aerospace Center during her bachelor’s degree in energy sciences. Here, she worked in the solar power plant technology department, dealing with concentrating solar thermal energy, among other things.
