Timo Hoelzmann is a consultant at Hamburg Institut for energy policy, legislation, regulation, funding instruments and verification systems for renewable energies. He is very familiar with the regulatory framework for energy and climate protection at both the national and European level and applies this knowledge to the specific projects of our clients and contractors.
Professional experience & qualification
Timo Hoelzmann studied Politics, Administration and Organisation in his Bachelor’s degree and European Studies in his Master’s degree before joining Hamburg Institut. During his studies, he gained practical experience as a working student at the German Renewable Energy Federation and the KI Bundesverband e. V. in Berlin. Among other things, he worked on position papers and statements and supported the political representation of interests and communication. He also worked for two years as a student assistant in the German Bundestag.
